But Blair Witch also didn't try to attract an audience with "OMG LOOK GUYS BLOOD, SEX, AND VIOLENCE! COME WATCH THIS MOVIE IT DA BEST EVUR!"

This is true. Sadly most people don't like it just because of that.

I cried like the whole time. Wow. I was reading about the when they went to find the body and started crying so hard. Imagine finding your husband like that. And he was just getting his voice back... And ugh.

Eden Lake is an actual movie, not a snuff film. But it does have similarities to the one I told you about, 3 Hammers 1 Guy.

It's not really that graphic. But it's just, certain scenes will make you feel disgusted not because of the violence, but because of what's happening.

It made me so upset with what they were doing to the natives...
And how the boyfriend fucked one of the natives in front of his girlfriend while she was screaming for him to stop.
It was a disgusting scene and made me lose a LOT of faith in humanity.
Right now my face is burning I get so upset over it.

It's actually worse. I watched Cannibal Holocaust, and, despite some things - mainly the real killing of animals in the movie - everything else wasn't quite enough.

But, with Eden Lake...a particular scene involving fire. It's not what you see that's so disturbing, it's what happens before and after this scene that makes you sick to your stomach.

Tell me. TELL ME! xD

I can't just tell you because it loses all substance and meaning if you don't actually see what happens earlier in the film.

I've been really weird with horror films lately.

The movie as a whole really isn't that bad, it'll just make you disgusted with and more so feel contempt towards teenagers.
